Opportunities to Serve

To carry out its wide range of activities, Gold Hill relies on small staff team and a huge army of volunteers.  Many in the church family choose to serve Jesus by offering their time and their skills to serve in the church. Serving with others is a great way to build friendships within the church family, as well as making a difference in the community.

Different people serve in different ways. Some people can commit to being on a rota on a regular basis, while others serve on an ad-hoc basis. Some tasks can be done at home and others are based at the Hub.

Some roles are covered by our safeguarding policy as they involve working with children or vulnerable adults.  We follow a safer recruitment procedure for anyone applying to volunteer in these areas, including a DBS check.
