Toddler Praise Restarts in September
We look forward to welcoming 0-4s and their parents/carers to our Toddler Groups. Toddler Praise starts on Friday 11 September. Toddler Praise+ (for those with disabilities or additional needs) starts on Monday 14 September.
Please register your child for the new term at least 24 hours beforehand. This will make it easier for everyone at the door.
10 Days of Prayer. 11 to 21 September
The theme of our 10 Days of prayer is Pursue. There are many opportunities throughout the period to pray, joining with others on-line or in person.
Alpha Course – starts 24 September
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to ask life’s big questions, such as: Is there more to life than this? What is my purpose? Why is there suffering? Does God exist? What is prayer really? What happens when I die?
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, run over twelve sessions.
10am Gathering Thanksgiving Sunday – all age service
On September 20th we will be holding a Thanksgiving Sunday. It will be an opportunity to gather to intentionally give God thanks and praise for all that He is and does. We will have one gathering (10am) followed by a BBQ lunch as a church family.

Daily Prayer Prompts
After a summer break, the Daily WhatsApp Prayer Prompts will restart in September.
The Short Prompt includes a memory verse for the week, together with a short prayer aligned with our vision to multiply fully devoted disciples of Jesus. This is sent to everyone who joins our House of Prayer WhatsApp Community at www.goldhill.org/houseofprayer.
The Going Deeper Prompt provides an opportunity to spend more time in prayer and reflection, often linked to the teaching from the previous Sunday. This is sent to those who join one of the Going Deeper groups within the Community. For safeguarding, there is a separate group for under-18s.

Events this week
One of our young adults will be sharing an encouragement from scripture, drawing on their personal experience of seeking God and asking Him what He might be saying about what's ahead.
Whether you are heading into a completely new season , carrying on with what you've been doing or have absolutely no idea what's next, there'll be space to gather, share life, ask questions, worship and simply be together as young adults.
Let's start this new season with God at the centre!
