Welcome to our weekly information page, where we aim to keep you up-to-date and connected! We pray that the resources and opportunities provided will help us all draw closer to God, and inspire us to share this wonderful good news with those we meet in the coming weeks.  Please do get in touch with us to provide any feedback, enquire about anything you may need…..or purely and simply to keep in touch!

We are excited to launch a new series this week exploring the book of Jonah, and we are so excited to take this opportunity to present the gospel through this familiar and grace-filled book and life.

Prayer Ministry

Pray for our Youth

Our young people had a great week exploring various spiritual challenges during half term week
Please continue to pray for them as they seek to live out all that God is calling them to. If you want to see some highlights from their week, click this link to see Natalie share about it!

FoodLife Offering Hope
This is a great initiative from our friends at Restore Hope Latimer called FoodLife, giving food packs and fresh food to those who need it. We encourage you to find out more and support if you can. Details here.

For prayer

Please lift up big, audacious prayers this week for:

Gold Hill and Hope Church families and their leaders as we seek to see God’s kingdom come to Chalfont St Peter and the surrounding areas.

Our brothers and sisters in churches across South Bucks, that God would be moving mightily across our region at this time.

Local initiatives (community support and Foodbanks) as we seek to share the good news of hope in Jesus with those most vulnerable.

For unity, that the racial divisions that have become prominent in media this week would be dissipated, and replaced with unrelenting unity.

For revival, that we would see God move powerfully across this nation, and the church step boldly and bravely into all that God has for her.

Jonah – Diving Deeper

As we begin our Sunday teaching series on the book of Jonah (Big Fish: Bigger God) we are holding a session diving deeper into the book and its lessons for the church today. It will take place next Thursday lunchtime (11th June, 12:30-13:45).

Contact stephen.walkerwilliams@goldhill.org for more information or simply log onto Zoom next Thursday.

Meeting ID: 886 8992 0959

It is now possible to give online. If you would like to do so, we are very grateful to you, and you can set that up by going to www.goldhill.org/giving and following the instructions there.

We are partnered with the Chiltern Food Bank as a distribution centre. The Food Bank does such important work and we are so glad to be part of it. You can read a short article about it here to find out a little more.

Please do hold Rock House, Graham House and the Gold Hill Homecare residents and teams in your prayers during these times. Pray for God’s protection over these places, and for strength and wisdom for all those who are in leadership to make good decisions.

If we can help you in any way, especially with the new challenges provided in the current virus season! And please feel free to point others in our direction too…..we are obviously endeavouring to ensure that all the Gold Hill family are well supported and served, but very much taking this opportunity to be Jesus’ hands and feet to our wider community.
