VE Day

Friday 8th
As our country celebrates VE Day, do join in with those around you. Also, you can read Doug’s (one of our members) memories he has written here.

9am on Sundays, led by children for children.
This is a great time for children to engage with God together, led by the children from our church for those their own age.

Coronavirus Resource Page
This is a place where we have gathered resources, links and material you might find helpful during these current days. Check it all out at goldhill.org/churchwhereyouare

For prayer

Please pray this week for:
Gold Hill and Hope Church families and their leaders as we seek to live out our faith in these strange times.
Newfield Community Church and their leadership team as they seek to be salt and light in Marlow.
Our Government Leaders as they make big decisions, especially over this weekend as bigger announcements are made about our immediate future.
Our Church Leaders as they consider announcements from the Government and prayerfully form plans for how we will be going forward.
Key workers as the nation approaches its expected peak pressure: for protection, strength, wisdom…..
Local initiatives (community support, Foodbanks…) as we care for one another.
Rock & Graham House, and Gold Hill Homecare staff and residents as they work tirelessly to stay safe and well.
Youth Centre leaders, volunteer teams and young people whilst meetings are suspended.
HubHeartHome please pray as workers continue to work at the site.

…is still open for business from storage.  Simply contact Dan (07421 325679 or http://facebook.com/Dans-Refill-Store ) and he’ll be pleased to arrange refills and payment – range of options for both!

It is now possible to give online. If you would like to do so, we are very grateful to you, and you can set that up by going to www.goldhill.org/giving and following the instructions there.

Please do hold Rock House, Graham House and the Gold Hill Homecare residents and teams in your prayers during these times. Pray for God’s protection over these places, and for strength and wisdom for all those who are in leadership to make good decisions.

If we can help you in any way, especially with the new challenges provided in the current virus season! And please feel free to point others in our direction too…..we are obviously endeavouring to ensure that all the Gold Hill family are well supported and served, but very much taking this opportunity to be Jesus’ hands and feet to our wider community.
