Even more important than what we do is who we are

At the heart of our church family, there are eight core values that we seek to let define everything we are and do. They are so important to us, and our hope is that we are continually growing in each of them.

We seek to live under God’s authority expressed in the truths of Scripture.

We will step out in faith by casting vision, taking risks, trying new things and releasing one another into God’s purposes.

We will believe the best of one another, work in partnership with others, and be generous with our time, resources, opinions and attitudes, making room for others.

We will seek to honour and love one another, respecting the image of God in all people and seeking to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and loving our neighbours as we love ourselves.

We will share the love of God with others and partner with Him in His transformation of the world by seeking to be the hands, feet and voice of Jesus to those we encounter in every area of our lives.

We will develop lives and habits of prayer, recognising that without God we can do nothing.

We will follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and honour Him in every area of our lives as individuals and as a church.

We will welcome and embrace other people, actively supporting them throughout their time as part of our community and welcoming them into the Gold Hill family.

As a church family, we subscribe to the Evangelical Alliance statement of faith.
