School of Discipleship
Training. Equipping. Releasing.
The Gold Hill School of Discipleship exists to train people for a lifetime of Christian discipleship by equipping them with the tools they need and releasing God-given potential.
A disciple is someone who is learning from Jesus, who is following Jesus closely and who looks more and more like Jesus. At Gold Hill, we are committed to helping people grow as disciples, so we run the School of Discipleship.
What is the School of Discipleship?
The School of Discipleship runs lots of different courses, events and programmes to help in lots of areas of life and faith. Some of these are one-off events, some are a series of evenings, some are conferences, all aimed at helping you to grow in faith and the ability to live your Christian life well.
We have partnered with Moorlands College to run the School of Discipleship, so often have their staff and lecturers coming to speak and teach at our events – we are so grateful to them for their generosity in this.
As well as investing in all Christians for daily faith and life, the School of Discipleship runs training events for those who are church leaders, including regular preaching masterclasses where we invite guests to come and share about specific areas of preaching.
How can I get involved?
As and when new courses or events are being launched, all the information will be in the Events area of the site, so keep an eye out there for what’s coming up. You can also contact us to find out what’s going on.
As part of the School of Discipleship, we also run a year-long internship programme, and are committed to training people up in church planting. If you feel God might be calling you to us for these, we would love to hear from you.
