During 2026, most of our Sunday morning teaching will be from the Book of Romans. This letter written by Paul gives one of the clearest explanations in the Bible of the good news about Jesus—what God has done, why we need it, and how we receive it. It helps us see how the gospel shapes not only what we believe, but also how we live together as a community of Christians. By spending time in Romans together, we hope to grow in a deeper understanding of God’s grace and a stronger confidence in the hope we have in Jesus.
Here are some suggestions for getting the most out of the series:
- Read the whole of Romans by yourself. Read it several times over the course of the series.
- Ahead of each Sunday sermon, read the passage for the week. It’s published on this website’s home page.
- Bring a notebeook and/or a paper Bible to church to make notes in. Some people like to take notes of everything they hear. Others just note down one or two points that really speak to them.
- Catch up with any Sundays you miss. You can do this on this website, via YouTube or Spotify/iTunes.
- Discuss the Sunday teaching in your life group, and/or with Christian friends.
- Most importantly, talk to God and ask Him to speak to you through Romans. Ask Him if there is anything you should do in response to what you have learned.
