Opportunities to Serve

Volunteering within and through Gold Hill

For most of us, being a disciple of Jesus means using our time, energy, and gifts to serve within the church. On this page you’ll find a range of opportunities. To find out more, speak to the person listed or contact the church office.

Don’t worry if nothing here feels like the right fit. God has given you unique gifts, and we’re confident we can help you find a place to serve. Just click the button to complete our volunteer form, and we’ll be in touch.

Children’s Work

We have the privilege of welcoming so many children into the Hub throughout the week – in Toddler Praise, Toddler Praise+, Hub Night, as well as our Sunday morning groups. There are many opportunities for members of the church family to get involved in this important outreach. Some of this involves working directly with the children, or their parents/carers. Other roles are more practical – such as registration, setting up and clearing away. Your commitment could be weekly, fortnightly or ad-hoc. If you would like to explore how your gifts can be used in this way, please contact Liz Styles.
This opportunity falls within our safer recruitment framework.

Ad-hoc events team

We want to grow our bank of people who we can call on to support for ad-hoc events. This could involve welcoming, refreshments, setting up/clearing away. If you would like to get involved in this way, please contact Helen Sanderson White.

POWER CUT!!!

Friday 27 March

We are sorry that, due to a power cut at The Hub, it has been necessary to cancel Toddler Praise and Friday Drop In.
