If you’ve come along to a Sunday gathering a few times, then maybe you want to consider making Gold Hill your home church. We would love that!

Make sure you've started your faith journey
Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian. It’s about having a personal relationship with the risen Jesus, acknowledging him as “Lord” and committing to being his disciple.
That’s a lifetime’s challenge but it starts with a single heartfelt prayer. If you haven’t yet taken that first step (or are not sure) then ask someone to help you.
Romans 10:13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Prioritise joining us at Sunday gatherings
Choose the 8.45 or the 10.30 gathering and aim to attend regularly.
There are also some micro-gatherings at other locations and times of the week. One of these might be suitable if your circumstances make regular Sunday mornings attendance difficult.
Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Find your people
Within Gold Hill there are many opportunities to meet regularly with a smaller group within the church. These are the ideal environment to build relationships and encourage one another in our faith. Click the button to find out more about small groups and how to join one.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”
Make a financial commitment
There is no charge for being part of the Gold Hill family. However, it costs money to operate the church, to pay our staff, to run The Hub and serve the community.
The amount you choose to give is between you and God. Click the button to learn more about how you can support the church financially.

Volunteer
Serving as a volunteer in the church is a wonderful way to use your God-given abilities in the service of the One who gave them to you! It’s also a wonderful way of getting to know people. Click the button to learn about some opportunities to serve.

Be Baptised
Baptism is a public way of showing your commitment to Jesus and declaring that your life has been changed by Him. It symbolises leaving behind old ways and being raised to new life, just as Jesus died and rose again. Click the button to learn more about baptism.
Acts 2:38-39 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off–for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
Become a church member
