Page Header (Parallax)

At the top of each page, we could have something looking a bit like this, with the title over it:

Title Goes Here

Most pages will start with a short paragraph-ish type thing. Most pages will start with a short paragraph-ish type thing. Most pages will start with a short paragraph-ish type thing. Then there might be some headings, text and subheadings.

Heading - A big one

Ooh, some interesting content underneath a heading, you say? With subheadings to make it more interesting? Ok then…

Heading - a slightly smaller one...

You get the idea… Now a few different items we could have popping up here and there.

Quotation

This is what big quotations could look like, either with an image or without:

“This is my quotation which is very inspiring. What I love about Gold Hill is so much, but the best thing is that my quotation is right here on the website, and you are reading it right now. Right here. Isn’t that wonderful!”

(Miri Allen, all round legend)

Image, Header and Text

This is what you’d use when you want a section of text with a particular image related to it. You can have several of these after one another to, for example, give details for a number of related groups (like Youth stuff):

Heading related to the image

This is where you put your text that relates to the image somehow. Ideally this block of text is roughly the same height as the image, but it’s all going to be aligned so that if it’s a little off it doesn’t look too bad. If it’s going to be WAY bigger than the image on most screens, might need to think about a different way of displaying though…

Colour Strip

For things we really want to stand out, or to break up pages:

ALERT!

If we really want to highlight something and draw attention to it, we can do so by having a full strip of the brand colour, and put things in it. Can be headings and text, or also buttons, pictures, anything we like. And the colour can be changed to be different if that’s better for any reason.

Buttons

To really highlight links, like with sign-up for events or big bold banner things, we can use these buttons. Depending on background and context, we can use different colour/versions. I’ve currently made two, but can generate others no problem.

Forms

This is what an embedded form from ChurchSuite can look like. (This isn’t a Building Block, as it isn’t styled at all, just a textbox with the correct html code in it.
