CHALFONT ALPHA ONLINE

Starting 18 Jan

We are starting an Alpha Course online over Zoom on 18 January 2021, and would love for you to join us as we do.

Below is lots of information about what Alpha is, and some things you might like to know before deciding to book. If you already know you want to book, though, you can do it by clicking this button!

What is ALPHA?

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to ask life’s big questions, such as: Is there more to life than this? What is my purpose? Why is there suffering? Does God exist? What is prayer really? What happens when I die?

Alpha is a chance to ask these questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, no-pressure environment. Each session includes a short film and a discussion where you can chat through your thoughts and questions with a small group of people just like you.

What is Chalfont ALPHA Online?

In previous years, ALPHA courses were in-person. We are now offering ALPHA Online. You can join in through Zoom via a link that we will send you after you sign up.

I’ve never used Zoom

We can help you get set up on Zoom so you can join in. Just email us to let us know that you need help on: chalfontalpha@gmail.com

Who is leading it?

Claudette and Ridgely Johnson will be hosting it.

Do I need to commit to all 12 sessions?

No, just come along to the first one to see if you like it. We hope you will then find that you want to attend all of them.

When does the course start and end?

Chalfont Alpha Online begins Monday, 18th January at 7:45 pm til 9:30 pm. It meets every Monday evening until 29th March (except half term when we take a break on 15 February). We also meet for an Alpha reunion on Monday, 19 April.

Are there other Alpha courses as I can’t make 7.45 on Mondays?

We may be able to arrange for you to join us on a another or subsequent Alpha course. Alternatively, we may be able to help you find an ALPHA online course run on a convenient evening by another church.

Can I find out more before I sign up?

If you have more questions and would like to get in touch, please email Claudette at chalfontalpha@gmail.com or phone 01753 342 010.
