The Hub

An exciting community resource in the heart of Chalfont St Peter

Whether you’re looking for a place to host an event, run community activities, or simply explore what’s happening in the village, The Hub is a vibrant and versatile space for everyone.

A Centre for Community Life

In September 2021, Gold Hill Baptist Church opened The Hub – a modern, fully-equipped facility in the centre of Chalfont St Peter. While it’s home to the church, The Hub is much more than that. It was created to serve the wider community, offering a space where people can connect, create, and come together.

Facilities at The Hub

The building has been designed with flexibility, comfort, and accessibility in mind. Facilities include:

  • A 400-seat air-conditioned auditorium with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment
  • A spacious foyer with a serving hatch to a fully-equipped kitchen – ideal for hospitality and gatherings
  • Multiple meeting rooms of varying sizes available for hire
  • A multi-purpose activity hall located at the heart of the top floor
  • A front-facing terrace, perfect for informal moments and village views

Accessibility

We’re committed to making The Hub accessible to everyone. The building includes:

  • Step-free access at all entrances
  • A lift to all floors
  • Accessible toilets on every level
  • Wide corridors, automatic doors, and a hearing loop throughout the building

Room Hire and Enquiries

The Hub’s facilities are available for use by local community groups, schools, businesses, and other organisations.

While we are delighted that The Hub is currently running at full capacity, we are unable to take bookings from new user groups at this time.

We do not take bookings for children’s parties.

If you have any questions about Hub bookings or would like to register your interest for future availability, please click the button to send a message to Sue Pole. She will be happy to help!
