Safeguarding
At Gold Hill Baptist Church, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, especially children, young people, and adults with care and support needs. We believe that every person should feel valued, safe, and empowered to speak up if they have any concerns.
Our safeguarding policies follow national guidelines and legal requirements to ensure the highest standards of care and protection. All our staff and volunteers are carefully selected, trained, and supported to uphold these standards, working together to prevent harm and respond effectively to any concerns.
If you have any worries about the safety or well-being of a child or adult, please contact our Safeguarding Team. Our Safeguarding Coordinator, Judith Righton, and Deputy Coordinator, Ed Matthews, are available to listen and offer guidance. You can reach them at 01753 342 019. All concerns are handled sensitively and in confidence.
